Various ways: halfway, day before deadline, day of deadline, day after deadline, or sending reminders

When initially creating the Tribute campaign, the Tribute creator has an option to set five reminders:

Invite – Send your participants a prompt to submit a video on launch. Halfway – Send a reminder halfway through the campaign. Day Before Deadline – Remind your participants to submit videos the day before the deadline. Day Of Deadline – Send one reminder before the deadline for video submissions. Day After Deadline – Send a reminder the day after the deadline for video submissions.
